A program playout system includes a video serverrecords a plurality of server contents and outputs theserver contents, a video switcher which selectivelyswitches between server contents and live contents, anddelivers the switched contents as an on-air videoimage, a content selection module which presents livecontent buttons and server content buttons, and acceptsan operation of selecting any one of the buttons, alive content playout module which, switches the videoswitcher, and delivers the live contents, at the timethat the live content button has been selected, and aserver content playout module which, outputs the servercontents that correspond to the button, and at the sametime, switches the video switcher and delivers theserver contents, at the time that the server contentbutton has been selected.
