It is intended to provide a sugar-modified liposome which is useful for the internal delivery such as oral administration and a composition for drug delivery in which an agent or a gene is enclosed in the sugar-modified liposome. The sugar-modified liposome of the invention preferably has a sugar chain which has at least one specific sequence bound via a linker such as human serum albumin and can be used as a material constituting the composition for drug delivery by carrying the agent.
