The method involves assigning focus priority to windows each associated with an application and having ability to accept focus. A focus is assigned to a specific window having a highest focus priority so as to designate the focus assigned window as active window. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) window-based display system for managing windows; (2) computer program product storing window management program; and (3) window management method.
