METHOD FOR DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSTICS OF HYPOPLASIA AND PARTIAL ATROPHY OF OPTIC NERVE IN CHILDREN

FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.;SUBSTANCE: one should determine the sizes and values after evaluating the state of optic nerve, and, also, topographic parameters: the range of the depth of optic nerve's caput, the area of excavation of optic nerve's caput, the area of the rim of optic nerve's caput. At the range of the depth of optic nerve's caput being below 0.52 mm, the area of the rim of optic nerve's caput being below 1.28 sq. mm, the area of excavation of optic nerve's caput being above 0.16 sq. mm one should diagnose hypoplasia of optic nerve. The innovation improves differential diagnostics at early reversible stage of the disease for matching the tactics and the terms of adequate therapy.;EFFECT: higher efficiency of differential diagnostics.;2 ex
