The printing machine has several print towers (T) with several print mechanisms and at least one folding hopper arrangement (F1-F3) for longitudinal folding of strip material with two hopper superstructures(F1-A,F1-B to F3-A,F3-B) arranged in sequence in the longitudinal direction of the machine. A first hopper superstructure has 3 hoppers of width less than half a maximum strip width. A second has at least one hopper plane with two adjacent hopers of width corresponding essentially to half of a maximum strip width.
