Registration-mark method for automatically determining the exact position of registration marks, e.g. with exact positioning printing plates, records parts digitally as registration marks

In regions (A-D) there are ascending ranges on the edges of a registration mark's horizontal line. The position of the edges is indicated in a diagram through four grid lines at the summit of ascending ranges. A component of a recorded registration mark determines the edges and forms gradients for the edges on both sides of the component.
