Histological tissue sample cutting device comprises white plastic working board having working face, high-grade steel rectangular trim-cutting units for inserting and cutting the samples by knife, and plastic trim adapter
The histological tissue sample cutting device in which trim-cutting units have a circumferential edge (4) which act as a cutting base for knife to cut the sample. The trim-cutting units (3) are designed with different depths (1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, and/or 3 mm) for manufacturing samples of different thickness. The trim-cutting units: are sunk in a working surface (2) adjacent at a distance to one another; are removable from a working board; and are arranged along a boundary region of the working board (1). The circumferential edge of the cutting unit is related to the working surface. The histological tissue sample cutting device in which trim-cutting units have a circumferential edge (4) which act as a cutting base for knife to cut the sample. The trim-cutting units (3) are designed with different depths (1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, and/or 3 mm) for manufacturing samples of different thickness. The trim-cutting units: are sunk in a working surface (2) adjacent at a distance to one another; are removable from a working board; and are arranged along a boundary region of the working board (1). The circumferential edge of the cutting unit is related to the working surface. The cutting units have equal and different large surfaces and are removable from the board. The working board has a high-grade steel or plastic clamp for the positioned holding of the sample. One of the trim-cutting units is arranged and dimensioned in such a way that an embedded cartridge (5) is insertable. The trim-cutting unit in the boundary region exhibits troughs (6) for withdrawal of the cartridge. The two clamps (7) have different large working surfaces and are fixed in the surface cavities arranged at the edge of the working board lying opposite to the cutting units. The clamp fixing device is arranged parallel to the trim-cutting units. A high-grade steel measuring scale (8) is designed on or in the working surface. A plastic trim adapter (9) is arranged as a working surface for smaller cutting work within the central range of the working board. The trim adapter is sunk in the working surface, and has a circular work surface. The cavities (12) are configured for tools such as knives, forks, scissors, and tweezers. The tool area (10) is slanted with respect to the working surface and is formed laterally to the trim-cutting units and to the right of the trim adapter. The tool area exhibits a discharge opening (13) that flows through the working board. A circumferential discharge spout (14) is arranged in the working board and in the outside boundary region surrounding the working surface. The discharge spout exhibits discharge openings (15), which are formed as passages through the working board.
