The connector device includes an insulating sleeve (12 or 12') with a socket contact (14) and an insulating sleeve (12 or 12') with a plug contact (16). The end of the receiving sleeve has an internal diameter that is equal to or less than the outer diameter of the endo of the received sleeve when the plug and socket are joined together. The insulating sleeves are provided with circumferential holding parts (20,20') that extend radially outwards. The outer diameters of the holding parts are different to each other and to the outer diameter of the end of the received sleeve.
