The system has an excimer laser device (110), a scanning device (120) and an eye tracing device (200) for finding an actual position of the eye of the patient. The device (200) has a comparator to compare a preset position data with an initial position data delivered by the device (120) for a shot. The device (200) sends an instruction signal to the laser device via a bus to fire the shot, when a preset position data is same as the initial position data of the device (120) for the shot. A microphone and a plate are used to monitor impulse energy of the pulsed laser rays. An independent claim is also included for a method for treating the eye of a patient.
