The device has an air-duct (2) that is throttled by an air flap (3), where the flap is pivotably arranged in a flow cross section of the duct and forms a gap (4) along a duct wall in a closing position of the flap. The gap is formed between closing edges of the flap and the wall only sectionally along the installation edge of the duct, where the remaining partial area of the installation edge comes to the duct wall. The partial area is provided with an elastomer seal and is extended along closing edges of a flap side (32) of the flap.
