Driver assistance system, has sensors (14,16,18) for the detection of a parking space and an evaluating processor unit (8) for the evaluation of the information collected by the sensors. An evaluation unit, which is formed for parking of the motor vehicle (2), generates concerned instructions and commands. An independent claim is also included for the method for assistance of parking action of the motor vehicle.
