The engine (1) has two stream circuits provided for producing stream in an exhaust gas heat exchanger (3) and an engine heat exchanger (7), respectively. A working medium for vaporization is provided in one stream circuit, where an exhaust stream of a stream turbine is condensed with the refrigeration capacity of a refrigerating machine that is operated with the engine waste heat. The refrigerating machine has an absorption heat pump, sorption heat pump and a vapor stream heat pump.
