The method involves arranging monitoring transducer (3) in acoustic proximity to the microphone (5). The sound emitter sends an acoustic signal in the unactuated condition of the station, which is received by the microphone. The proper receiving is monitored by a monitoring unit, which generates an interference signal, if the acoustic signal is not received properly. An independent claim is also included for a device to execute the method.
