The plug has an arm (6) for detachment of the locking of the plug with a socket. A closing device (10) is arranged at the plug and blocks the operation of the arm in a locking position. The closing device blocks the detachment of the connection between the plug and the socket. The closing device has a lock with a key (12), which is brought into the locking position. The spring is movably and pivotably supported within a housing of the closing device. An independent claim is also included for a closing device for use in a plug, which is provided for the connection of a cable with a socket.
