The hair brush for care of animal hair and for massaging has a suction head, with suction holes (6), from which projects a handle (1) which is formed as a suction tube and which is connectable to a vacuum cleaner. The suction holes are longitudinal slots, between which extend longitudinal ribs (7) with downwards projecting knobs (5) and/or bristles. The knobs may be elastic, bar-form elements which change into a spherical form on their projecting ends, or may have a conical form with rounded points.
