Shaping tool with a shaping body (1), a device for mounting the shaping body in a press (4,5) and sensor units, where the shaping body has a surface which is complementary to the workpiece shape to be produced. The sensor units and a communication unit are mounted on the shaping body. To detect the use (sic) of the shaped body the sensor unit is selected and to transmit the utilization data picked up by the sensor unit the communication unit is selected at a remote control station (sic).
