The arrangement has a magnetic encoder (1), which has the cylindrical form and magnetization, where the magnetic encoder is designed parallel to a cylinder base. Two magnetic field sensors (2a,2b) are provided, where the magnetic encoder is movable with respect to the magnetic field sensors in a contact free manner. The magnetic field sensors are radially positioned with respect to a cylinder axis of the encoder. The magnetic field sensors are shiftably arranged with respect to the cylinder axis of the encoder around a defined angle amount to each other. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring an angle of rotation using the sensor arrangement.
