The method involves accessing a test data stream by an interface, where a test data comprises state events, which update a current test condition, and data events, which are interspersed with the state events. A determination is made by a processor to find whether the data events are in compliance with the test condition. The data events are released or additional data events are buffered based on the determination. The state events are synthesized and released, and the test condition is updated based on implied change of state. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for synthesizing condition events for a test data stream (2) a machine readable media comprising instructions to perform a method for synthesizing condition events for a test data stream.
