Beverage machine (1) has a disinfection device (15) in the container (9) to disinfecting the operating beverage preparing material. Disinfection device comprises source of energy (17,17') for producing ozone as disinfectant. The beverage machine under the utilization of the gravitational force produces ozone which drops into the container and lying over the beverage preparing material which can be disinfected.
