The hinge has a column panel (3) arranged at a column of a door frame, and a door panel (2) fastened to a vehicle door that is attached to the frame. The panels are connected with one another by a hinge pin (4). The panels include respective stop surfaces, which stay in contact, on achieving a maximal opening angle of the hinge. A spacer unit (5) is movable between operation and passive positions at the hinge. The unit (5) is arranged between the surfaces in an operation position so that it reduces the maximum opening angle, and retains the angle of the hinge in the passive position.
