The protective bellows has a series of bellows segments (14) each manufactured in one piece from a flexible bellows material, wherein each segment has connecting elements on its two axial ends for connecting to adjacent bellows segments, and also fastening elements on at least one of the two ends for fastening of the segment to a guide frame.
