Nozzle for laser machining of materials with a rotationally symmetrical nozzle channel (2) thru which the laser beam (3) and process gas (4) are guided. The nozzle channel is bottlneck shaped in the direction of exit hole (5), at which it is parallel or nearly so to the symmetry axis (6) of the nozzle channel, so that the process gas exits the exit hole as a laminar stream,.
