A process for the preparation of a soft-magnetic sintered material is of hexagonal ferrite and a soft magnetic sintered material of hexahonalem ferrite
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a soft magnetic hexagonal ferritic sintered compact by which larger crystal grains can be produced compared with those by the conventional production method, and to provide a soft magnetic hexagonal ferritic sintered compact having a structure in which large crystal grains are oriented. ;SOLUTION: A method for producing a soft magnetic hexagonal ferritic sintered compact containing the crystal grains of M type hexagonal ferrite expressed by the general formula of MFe12O19 (wherein, M is one or more kinds selected from Ba, Sr and Pb) is provided. In this production method, the crystal grains having a grain diameter of 5 to 100 μm are separated from the sintered compact produced from the raw material mixed powder of the crystal grains, and, with the crystal grains as seed crystals, a mixture of the seed crystals and calcined powder as fine crystals with a grain diameter of 0.5 to 3 μm having the above composition is burned, and the crystal grains in the sintered compact are grown till the average grain diameter reaches 30 to 500 μm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
