The rod has a reversible compression deformation unit including an axial guiding unit (121) integrated to a rod base (12) on which a sliding unit (111) carrying a connecting rod head (11) slides. An elastic connection unit constituted by a spring (20) is disposed between the head and the base. A traction stop (122) is arranged on the base for limiting traction deformation of the rod by limiting the course of the sliding unit during its return to non-compressed initial position when an inertia force is greater than that of a carbon dioxide gas.
