The method involves monitoring a phase detecting a duration equal to a time separating two successive lightings produced by rotation of a main sustaining rotor blade, where the time is increased from a duration of a lighting. The detection phase involves emitting pulse bursts of detection of a same frequency inside a burst such that the time separating two consecutive pulses is lower that a duration of a lighting.
