Self-casting filler refractory mortar with a low silica content, improved corrosion resistance and a satisfactory castability for filling orifices of less than 25 mm

Self-casting filler refractory mortar comprises, by wt. % of refractory material, 1 to 10 of non- granulated spherical particles with a mean size = 0.1 mu m and = 2 mm and containing, by wt. % of dry mortar, less than 4.5 of silica (SiO 2) and between 1 and 8 of water. The typical relative separation of the size of the spherical particles is also less than 100 %.
