An installation (1) for the fabrication of reinforcement for reinforced concrete comprises: (A) a preparation zone (10) for positioning the rods (3) for the frames and the bars (2) for the grilled structure (4); (B) an automated bending zone (20) for retaining the grilled structure in two retaining lines following a bending line to provide the desired profile. The positioning system consists of a transfer mechanism (5) with bands or chains with projections or notches constituting reservations for the reception and position operation.
