The vehicle has a detection unit to detect a fuel level in a fuel tank. A controller calculates an autonomy of the vehicle based on the fuel level remaining in the tank. A display unit displays the vehicle autonomy in form of a pictogram. The display unit varies the color and light level of a part of the pictogram (1) based on the detected fuel level in the tank, where the pictogram represents an indicator (2) for the vehicle autonomy and an indicator (3) that indicates calculated kilometer in digits. A fuel pump (4) surrounded by a disk (5) is represented at a side of the indicators.
