PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a search result of a route path visually easily-to-see and to secure a space for displaying station circumference information, advertisement, and the like.;SOLUTION: In this route chart display system, a path search condition is transmitted from a terminal device 10 to a route information distribution server 20, and the search result distributed from the route information distribution server 20 is displayed by the terminal device 10. The information distribution server 20, using a path searching means 24, searches for the optimal route path or a plurality of candidate route paths, based on the path search condition and data of a network database 26 for search and a timetable database 27. The optimal route path searched or the candidate route paths selected are distributed and are displayed on the terminal device 10. Here, a drawing obtained by extracting only the optimal route path or selected candidate route paths from the whole route chart is displayed, and the station circumference information, advertisement, and the like are displayed on a vacant space.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
