PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduced wall thickness detector capable of determining whether piping is reduced in its wall thickness without taking labor and time even in coated piping.;SOLUTION: The reduced wall thickness detector 1 includes the pressure sensor 11 embedded in the piping 10 at a predetermined depth position from the inner surface of the piping 10 to detect the contact with the fluid flowing through the piping 10 and a reduced wall thickness determination part 20 for determining the reduced wall thickness of the piping 10 on the basis of the detection results of the pressure sensor 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
