PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP multicast distribution apparatus capable of distributing only suitable traffic from among a plurality of multicast traffic under distribution that home terminal equipment can receive, and distributing the traffic that can be rightly reproduced by the home terminal equipment.;SOLUTION: When an input of a stable traffic is detected by an input detection section 13a and a timer mechanism 12a, the IP multicast distribution apparatus 1 determines multicast traffic masked by the input traffic by means of a mask table 11. The traffic to be masked by the determination is stopped from being stored into traffic selection sections 14b, 14c. When an input of the multicast traffic cannot be detected for a fixed time, the IP multicast distribution apparatus 1 restarts storing the traffic masked by a relevant multicast group from the mask table 11 into queues 15b, 15c of traffic.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
