PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring a polymerization degree of a polyacrylic ester, and the like. PSOLUTION: The method for measuring a polymerization degree of a polyacrylic ester comprises a step for obtaining a polyacrylic ester represented by general formula (3) by causing a lower alcohol represented by general formula (2) below in a supercritical or subcritical state to react, in a flow reaction system, with a polyacrylic ester (A) obtained by polymerizing a polyfunctional acrylic ester, at a temperature where the main chain of the polyacrylic ester (A) is not cut, and a step for measuring the polymerization degree of the polyacrylic ester represented by general formula (3) and estimating from this polymerization degree the polymerization degree of the polyacrylic ester (A). General formula (2) is RSP3/SPOH (in general formula (2), RSP3/SPis a substituted or unsubstituted 1-3C alkyl group). In general formula (3), RSP1/SPis a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted methyl group; RSP3/SPis a substituted or unsubstituted 1-3C alkyl group; and n is a polymerization degree.
