PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new peptide having a thick taste-imparting function and also a food imparted with the thick taste effectively by adding the peptide without damaging its flavor.;SOLUTION: The peptides consisting of one or more sequences represented by the following sequence formula are found out to have the thick taste-imparting function.
