PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtightness inspection technology having a simple structure, capable of securing safety, and discovering and specifying an air leakage place of a box body or the like surely and inexpensively.;SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a fuming container 2 for storing dry ice D, a water tank 3, a mounting hole 91 formed in the box body K or the like into which a steam movement control device S is to be fitted, a water passage 4 for connecting the fuming container to the water tank, and a pump 5 for preloading the inside of the box body. Water is supplied into the fuming container to start fuming from the dry ice, and the white smoke is filled inside the box body or the like and preloading is performed by the air pressure, and thereby the white smoke is allowed to leak from the air leakage place, and the leakage is viewed by visual observation, to thereby discover and specify the air leakage place.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
