PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed-model initial value calculation device for calculating the initial value of a parameter of a mixed model, on the basis of the data to be analyzed.;SOLUTION: The mixed-model initial value calculation device 1 comprises a multiple-dimensional histogram generating means 12 for generating a multiple-dimensional histogram regarding a multiple-dimensional observation signal (multiple-dimensional data) which is an object of analysis of the mixed model; a multiple-dimension binarization means 13 for binarizing each value of the multiple-dimensional histogram based on the threshold; a multiple-dimensional labeling means 14 for extracting and labeling an area where a binarized data continuously becomes a predetermined value; and a parameter initial value calculation means 15, in which a statistical amount of the multiple-dimensional observation signal corresponding to the area is calculated for each labeled area and in which the number of the area and the statistical amount are set to the number of distribution and the initial value of the parameter in the mixed model.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
