PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate an amount of humidifying water by a simple method in a water permeable film type humidification module of a fuel cell system. PSOLUTION: A humidifying water amount estimation device comprises a gas temperature estimation means for estimating a dry-air inlet-air temperature and a wet-air inlet-air temperature flowing into the humidification module 15 by using a dry-air temperature characteristic map and a wet-air temperature characteristic map on the basis of a cooling medium temperature at a cooling passage outlet of a fuel cell 13 acquired by a temperature sensor 29 and an amount of the intake air of an air compressor 17 acquired by an air flowmeter 31, and a humidifying water amount estimation means for estimating an amount of humidifying water in the humidification module 15 by using a humidifying water amount map on the basis of the acquired intake air flow rate, the dry-air inlet-air temperature, and the wet-air inlet-air temperature.
