USE OF GENE WHICH VARIES IN AMOUNT OF EXPRESSION DURING COURSE OF MALIGNANT TRANSITION FROM PRECANCER TO CANCER

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the use of a gene for diagnostic methods and diagnostic agents for cancer, screening methods for therapeutic drugs, therapeutic vectors and therapeutic methods on the basis of analyzing a great number of genes and finding a gene exhibiting specific expression in the state of cancer and precancer. PSOLUTION: Disclosed are a diagnostic method for cancer including a process of testing the expression amount of a gene taking a specific DNA as cDNA, a diagnostic method featured by searching the change of expression amount of a polypeptide encoded by the gene, a diagnostic method featured by searching the expression amount of the gene mRNA, a diagnostic agent for cancer, a screening method for samples having anticancer activity, a method for producing a medicinal composition having anticancer activity, and a therapeutic method.
