PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide expandable polystyrenic resin particles capable of giving an expanded molded product causing no oozing contents therein outside even in case an oily ingredient or colored matter such as a curry powder is stored therein over a long period or a liquid containing a surfactant or the like is contained therein over a long period, and also substantially causing no staining the inner surface of a pipe when conveyed therethrough to a preliminarily expanding machine.;SOLUTION: The expandable polystyrenic resin particles are such as to be coated with surface skin layer, which is characterized by comprising, based on 100 pts.mass of the expandable polystyrenic resin particles, 0.005-0.04 pt.mass of polybutene 190-1,000 mPa s in viscosity at 23°C and 0.05-0.9 pt.mass of a higher fatty acid metal salt.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
