PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure constructed, such that an outer vacuum vessel is made free of counteracting to a force necessary to support an ultralow-temperature vessel so that the outer vacuum vessel will not need making of a thick material.;SOLUTION: The cryostat has a cryogenic temperature vessel 2 supported within an outer vacuum vessel 4, in which there are provided, at least one housing 20 for supporting a weight of the ultralow temperature vessel and outer vacuum vessel, installed on the outer surface of the outer vacuum vessel and constituted to function as a leg for floor standing; at least two fixing elements 26, 30 provided within the housing; and at least two support elements 22, 23 comprising an upper support element 22 and a lower support element 23. In this arrangement, the at least two support elements 22, 23 are provided, extending through holes 32 within the surface of the outer vacuum vessel between the individual fixing elements 26, 30 and the individual fixing elements on the cryogenic temperature vessel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
