PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure constructed, such that an outer vacuum vessel is made free of counteracting to a force necessary to support an ultralow-temperature vessel so that the outer vacuum vessel will not need making of a thick material.;SOLUTION: The cryostat has a cryogenic temperature vessel 2 supported within an outer vacuum vessel 4, in which there are provided, at least one housing 20 for supporting a weight of the ultralow temperature vessel and outer vacuum vessel, installed on the outer surface of the outer vacuum vessel and constituted to function as a leg for floor standing; at least two fixing elements 26, 30 provided within the housing; and at least two support elements 22, 23 comprising an upper support element 22 and a lower support element 23.
