PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pleat-type filter for a dust collector which has the optimal design point capable of reducing an installation area of the filter as much as possible while maintaining air-flow resistance low when the filter is arranged so as to align pleats in the vertical direction.;SOLUTION: By using a dirty filter cloth resistance as a resistance coefficient due to residual dust which is not dusted by dusting operation, and a filter material, from the relationship between the installation area of the pleat-type filter and an aperture value (P/H), a ratio of a space P between two mountain parts in the pleats of the filter to the height H of the mountain parts, the aperture value (P/H) is set to 0.1-0.3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
