PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake temperature reducing device for enhancing the reducing effect of the intake temperature. PSOLUTION: This intake air temperature reducing device 1A is provided with a coolant supply unit 11 supplying a substance of enhancing specific heat of intake air as a coolant to an intake passage 2 on the upstream side of a section 4 receiving heat from an external part of the intake passage 2, a coolant recovery unit 12 recovering the coolant raised in the temperature by moving in the section 4 of the intake passage 2 together with air from the intake passage 2 on the upstream side of a combustion chamber 1a of an internal combustion engine 1, and a cooler 13 cooling the recovered coolant.
