PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable-thickness shear panel type control device for a bridge which exerts sufficient base isolation performance while having a simple structure.;SOLUTION: This variable-thickness shear panel type control device 50 for the bridge connects a lower structure 10 of the bridge and an upper structure 20 of the bridge which is supported on the top surface of the lower structure of the bridge via a movable support member 12. The control device 50 comprises: a lower connecting portion 52 which is connected to a portion of the lower structure of the bridge facing the upper structure of the bridge; an upper connecting portion 53 which is connected to a portion of the upper structure of the bridge facing the lower structure of the bridge; and concave portions 56 and 57 in circular shapes in a front view which are concavely formed on both front and back sides, and have amounts of their concaveness increased toward a central portion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
