PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate whether natural water suited for drinking is tasteful or not by an analytical chemistry method. SOLUTION: According to the result of the concentration analysis of inorganic ions contained in natural water, the natural water is estimated to be well- balanced tasteful water where the sum of the molar concentration ratio of sodium ions and potassium ions that are 1-valence cations, the sum of the molar concentration ratio of magnesium ions and calcium ions that are divalent cations, and the sum of the molar concentration ratio of chloride ions and sulfuric ions that are anion ions are approximately 1/3, respectively.
