PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat source for heating having safe water and a heat source required for water retention/reconstitution for one meal unit of emergency ratios and having suitability for reheating retort pouch foods, and to provide a food reheating method and retort pouch foods using the heat source for heating.;SOLUTION: The heat source for heating includes a flat heating bag (1) composed of a heat resisting film and a water-permeable bag (42) with a heat generating material sealed therein, the material absorbing reaction water to produce an exothermic reaction. At the upper end of the heating bag (1), there are provided a sealing chuck (12) that can be opened and a ventilation hole (13) that is situated under the sealing chuck (12). At the lower end of the heating bag (1), the center part is folded to form a mountain fold (15). The water permeable bag (42) has a size to be horizontally arranged in a bottom part (14) when the mountain fold (15) is flattened to form the bottom part (14) of the heating bag (1).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
