PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite traffic system which achieves minimum separation thereof from existing automobile traffic etc. by minimum three-dimensional construction, to a minimum level, ensures competitive ability thereof while maintaining the regular and quick transportability, and is constructed in a space over roads, where construction costs can be reduced.;SOLUTION: The composite traffic system in the city center area is implemented by constructing: a lower traveling passage 1 which has a plurality of lanes and a platform 2 arranged at the center thereof; an upper traveling passage 3 which extends from the platform 2 at the center of the lower traveling passage 1, and has a minimum girder width and an almost T-shaped cross section over the lower traveling passage; an island stop 4 which is constructed at the center of the upper traveling passage 3; a vertical hoistway 5 which is located at the center of the island stop 4 and connects between the upper traveling passage 3 and the lower traveling passage 1, and diagonal hoistways which are located at upstream and downstream locations of the island stop 4 and connect between the upper traveling passage 3 and the lower traveling passage 1; and shared traveling passages which are formed in the upper traveling passage 3, and available for a lane where an LRT vehicle travels and a lane where a guide way buss travels, in common.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
