PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring the shape of a tube simply and with high precision.;SOLUTION: In the shape measuring apparatus, the tube 10 in a nearly horizontal attitude is supported by supporting rollers 40 which abut on the both ends 13 thereof. A pair of pressing rollers 20, 20 press the inner surface 11 in the vicinity of both ends 13 of the tube 10 against the support rollers 40, to keep sure contact between the outer surface 12 of the tube 10 and the support rollers 40. Under these conditions, the tube 10 is rotated, and radial displacement of the outer surface 12 of the tube 10, accompanied by the rotation, is detected by a displacement detector 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
