PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for surely preventing drop by freely slidably connecting a safety belt to a handrail frame or the like which is attached to a temporary scaffold frame which is framed in a construction site. SOLUTION: A guide rail 5 provided with a guide groove is secured to the side faces of a horizontal handrail frame 2 and a corner handrail frame which fit over rectangular columns of a temporary scaffold, and a sliding metal fitting is freely slidably fitted into the guide groove. A curved rail is formed at one end of the corner handrail frame, and a bifurcated engaging part is formed at one end of each of the horizontal handrail frame 2 and the corner handrail frame. A single engaging part is formed at the other end of each of the horizontal handrail frame 2 and the corner handrail frame.
