PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersant excellent in initial dispersion, in prolonged preservation stability, and in abrasion resistance, and improved, especially when developed into an inkjet recording pigment ink, in discharge stability, in printing property, and in fixation, and to provide an aqueous ink or paint using the pigment dispersant.;SOLUTION: The anionic pigment dispersant uses a polyglycerol having an average polymerization rate of 2-20, an alkylene oxide (1-150 mol), and a 4-24C straight chain type or a branched type saturated or unsaturated fatty acid, or uses a polyglycerol polyoxyalkylene fatty acid comprising an aromatic carboxylic acid and having an esterification rate of 20-80%, or a sulfate salt, a phosphorate salt, or a borate salt of an aromatic carboxylate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
