PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of detecting defects of concrete reinforced by adhering a reinforcement plate, and determining kinds of defects.;SOLUTION: The reinforcement plate is heated by a heating device 17 while controlled by a heating control means 11. A temperature measuring device 19 measures a surface temperature of each unit area of the reinforcement plate. The measured data from the temperature measuring device 19 after the stop of heating is recorded in a data recording means 13. A waveform comparing means 12 calculates the phase difference between a temperature variation waveform of each unit area and a reference waveform of specific periods, and the calculation is performed on the reference waveforms of a plurality of periods. The defect kind determining means 7 determines the kind of defects on the basis of the phase difference based on the plurality of reference waveforms.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
