PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining the combination of mounted components in the same mounting cycle of a component mounting device which can efficiently minimize the moving time of a component mounting head.;SOLUTION: The method includes a first step of dividing components into a number of groups corresponding to the number of component mounting heads according to the position of a component supply part so that the respective component mounting heads suck the same numbers of components and allocating the component mounting heads to the respective groups, and a second step of determining the combination of components which are in different groups and mounted in the same mounting cycle.
